I was just dreaming about Santa Fe. 🏜💭
It’s one of my favorite places in the world. 🌎 So much so that a few years ago, I even moved there. I thought that it might be my forever home.
It wasn’t (at least not for now). But I still return as often as I can. It fills me up in the best ways.
Of all the things I love about Santa Fe, there’s one thing Santa Fe does especially well…Doors. 🚪
Big, bold, wildly creative doors.
Hand-carved, brightly painted, deeply intentional.
Each one feels like an invitation and a boundary at the same time.
And while I was daydreaming about Santa Fe’s magical doors, I couldn’t stop thinking about how this month in the Chaos to Calm Community, we’re working on the entryway—that overlooked little space that holds so much meaning.
Your entryway isn’t just a hallway.
It’s not just a pile of shoes or a place to toss keys. It’s your threshold.
It does two powerful things:
1. Launches you into the world—ideally helping you to feel prepared, grounded, and resourced for the day ahead.
2. Welcomes energy in—people, packages, information, expectations, all of it.
And that brings me to the real question…
What are you letting into your life right now?
I’m not just talking about visitors…or physical stuff. I’m also talking about intangible things…
✅ Habits
✅ Energy
✅ Noise
🧾 Are there subscriptions you’ve been meaning to cancel?
🛒 Are you buying things you don’t actually use?
💬 Are there conversations, relationships, or activities that leave you feeling drained instead of energized?
Your entryway holds clues.
Sometimes the clutter isn’t just clutter—it’s a trail of unspoken boundaries.
A pile of decisions you haven’t had time (or space) to make.
A physical representation of the energetic leaks in your life.
This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being intentional.
So today, I invite you to look at your entryway (and your life) and ask:
“What am I ready to clear out?”
“What am I ready to stop welcoming in?”
“What deserves a real, wholehearted yes in my life?”
Big changes start with questioning what is.
Here’s to holding the door open for what lights you up,
